kraftwerk
Kraftwerk (usina de energia em alemão) é um grupo musical alemão que inventou um estilo de música techno totalmente feita e tocada por meio de sintetizadores, tornando a música eletrônica mais acessível ao grande público, principalmente porque se tornaram os precursores de estilos como o techno e o electro, bem como a moderna “dance music”em geral. A banda foi fundada por Florian Schneider e Ralf Hütter em 1970, mas contando sempre com a participação de outros músicos, sendo que muitos sequer chegaram a participar de algum disco.
As técnicas que o Kraftwerk introduziu, assim como os equipamentos desenvolvidos por eles, são elementos comuns na música moderna. A banda tem sido considerada por alguns como tão influentes quanto os Beatles na sua participação na música popular na segunda metade do século XX. As suas letras lidam com a vida urbana e a tecnologia europeia pós-guerra. Geralmente mínimas, ainda assim revelam celebração e alertas sobre o mundo moderno.
Quase todo estilo que envolva música eletrônica: darkwave, IDM, new wave, electropop, synthpop, industrial, trance, disco, cold wave, new romantic, psy, house, freestyle, etc. Deve muito a esse pioneiro grupo alemão.
